Puss's Return Voids Need For Cat Insurance Claim
Fears of a catnapper have been assuaged after a missing mother cat returned home.
Minnie the tortoiseshell was the third cat Dartford-based Vivienne Duffield had lost in a year.
This had led Mrs Duffield to worry that a catnapper had been on the loose.
But Minnie, who went missing on October 13 despite having two kittens at home, has now come back in good health.
Mrs Duffield told This is Local London she was "incredibly relieved" to have Minnie back to live with the 14 other cats she and her husband Michael own.
She told the paper that both human and feline members of the family had missed Minnie and were glad to have the 18-month-old back.
One famous cat lover is singer Susan Boyle, who found stardom on Britain's Got Talent.
The vocalist recently spoke of her loneliness after the death of her mother and how her cat Pebbles had given her company.
She told the Daily Mirror: "There was nobody around except my cat."
