Cat Insurance Holders Targeted In New Phone App
Owners of iPhones and iPod Touches can now make use of CatPaint to add moggies to their chosen backgrounds.
The CatPaint application allows users to choose an image of a cat and place it where they wish on the background they like.
It even causes the cats to miaow.
Users can shake the mobile device to erase cats and choose the moggy they want from a little animated drawer shaped like a litter tray.
CatPaint, which costs just a dollar, has enjoyed a roundly puss-itive response from bloggers.
According to iPhone Saviour, it is "one iPhone app you can't live without", while mmmeow.com blogger Michael Sippey summed it up with: "OMG EVERYONE HERE NEEDS THIS APP."
It is not the first time cats have made a foray into technology.
The website icanhascheezburger.com has long allowed people to submit photos of cats and give them amusing captions, as well as rating other users' offerings.
